Following five years in the army infantry, Hayden embarked on a career in civil engineering. He gained valuable experience as a technician in a mechanical laboratory for Downers, testing soils and aggregates for construction projects. This position established the groundwork for his future successes in quality control and laboratory management.
At J SWAP Contractors, Hayden implemented ISO 9000 certification and managed quality control for 11 quarries.
